It's an easy way to check backlinks. Thanks for posting this. I didn't know the command for Yahoo but now I know. However, I think it would be better if Google update these more often so that we can see latest backlinks :)

yup, the best way is to look for backlinks via search engines like google, yahoo etc rather then going to a seo site and trying to find how many backlinks search engines are showing

wow, i never knew this. I searched about my blog in google and i am having 8 links. But in yahoo around 40. Why is there such a big difference? Thanks for the post.

Yahoo seems to have the most exact count out of all of them, most up to date as well
